Information regarding the latest version of the DNS Protection agent is displayed on the Business Release Notes page.+Checking the version of the Webroot DNS Protection agentYou can check the version of the Webroot DNS Protection agent using the Webroot Management console or directly from the device.Using the Webroot Management console Log in to the Webroot Management console. In the left nav bar, click Entities. Find and click the site to see a list of devices for the site. Click a device to display detailed information for that device. The Summary tab displays the DNS Protection Agent Version in the bottom right part of the page. Directly on the device Open Add/Remove Programs or Apps & Features. Scroll down and click Webroot DNS Protection Agent. The DNS Protection agent version is displayed. +Forcing the Webroot DNS Protection agent to update Stop and start the Webroot DNS Protection Agent service. The action of restarting the service results in the DNS Protection agent checking for updates and this will sometime force an agent to update. If that doesn't resolve the issue, move to the next step. Use the DNS Protection agent uninstall tool to remove the agent, forcing a fresh installation. Webroot created a tool to help remove the DNS Protection agent. After the agent has been removed, assuming the endpoint policy assigned has DNS Protection enabled and the device is connected to the internet, the DNS Protection agent will be re-installed within seconds. Log into the Webroot Management console. In the left nav bar, click Entities. In the Sites & Groups list, find and click the Site name that contains the devices to send Agent Commands to. Check the boxes for the devices, then click the Agent Commands drop-down menu at the top of the screen. Select Run Customer Support Script, for the URL, enter (exactly as it appears): Agent commands are received and processed by devices as they check-in.
