I have an old Mac running OSX 10.6.8 that I use solely for music production (basically just vocal recording and vocal editing). I am currently using garage band but would really like to upgrade to protools. The problem is, that it seems Protools is not selling any versions of Protools before Protools 12. If I get a perpetual license and can find an old version of Protools, would my license work on an old version? I saw a few places online that let you download old versions of Protools and I also saw a fee people selling old versions on Ebay. How legitimate are these?
