These are not H-grids, but they are close relations, and were found while searching for H-grids.Pursuing my "band knitting" analogy, we need a term for the number of distinct minlex bands (horizontal and vertical) in a grid. The vast majority of grids will have 8 different bands, and H-grids by definition only have one, but any number in between is possible.I suggest the term k-ply. So H-grids are 1-ply, and the most common grids (with all different bands) are 8-ply.
