Fredericksburg.Still, the Dog Mart did have a happy outcome for a pink sweater-clad Chiweenie named Ruby, who charmed Darra O’Byrne and her O’Donnough granddaughters, 9-year-old Lacey and 7-year-old Reese. They spotted the puppy when a member of the Squishy Face Crew, a new animal rescue group based in Fredericksburg, paraded the puppy around the ring during the adoption showcase. Afterward they walked back to the organization’s tent to get details about Ruby and find out how much it would cost to adopt her.Catherine McLaughlin explained that all of the rescued dogs and cats that Squishy Face Crew fosters are vaccinated and either spayed or neutered before they’re available for adoption. They charge $250 for puppies and $150 for adult dogs.“We’re getting it! We’re getting it!” Reese cried excitedly as O’Byrne pulled out her credit card to pay for Ruby. The girls entered Ruby in the dog show held near the end of the Dog Mart. She didn’t win the hound class, but Goettler, who asked each owner what their dog’s favorite thing was, gave her a shoutout anyway.“Ruby’s favorite thing is being adopted,” she said. “Let’s give a big round of applause for Ruby and her family.” Tomorrow. Good luck, and have a good night! Hello again! How was your first night? I hope you didn’t get too much trouble. Heh... Um, something I forgot to mention last night: If you’ve been flicking through your camera feed, uh, you might’ve noticed that, you know, the one in the fuse room has a door and a light switch similar to the ones in your office. Uh, if I were you, I’d keep an eye on that camera, just to make sure there’s no one sneaking around back there. If someone got in, they could do all kinds of nasty stuff to your equipment. Lights could go haywire, doors would cease to function... It would not be pretty is all I’ll say. Oh, one last thing: Don’t ask how, but we discovered something rather interesting about the animatronics today. Uh, sometimes, they start behaving... oddly, and will even simply stare in his face. Uh, it’s pretty creepy, but we found that flashing a bright light into their eyes seems to fix any abnormal behavior. So, um, make sure to keep that in mind. I trust you have your flashlight with you, heh... Anyway, I gotta get going. I’ll talk to you again tomorrow. Have a good night! Hey, hey! Wow! Night 3 already! You’re a real natural at this! Mr. Krabs is pretty pleased with the way things have been going. Uh, from what I hear, this restaurant’s already payed back its cost with interest, so I’m sure he’s happy about that. By the way, have you seen his animatronic around? The thing seems to lurk around the left side of the restaurant during the day. Um, I’m not sure where he might be during the night, but, you know, I’d keep an eye out for him by the

Then they will want $500 more for me to be current again. Anyway, I cannot decide what to do. I have been going back and forth on this for a few months now. If not for needing assemblies I could get by on what I have, but I need assemblies. Are there better options for me than Geomagic out there that I have not found? Should I just bite the bullet and buy expert and know I will have to pay $500 more each time I get into it again? Should I see if I can get by on the hobby edition (or can you tell by my requirements that this is a waste of time/money?)Anyway please ask any questions that could help you help me in making a decision . I need to decide on something, because the day is coming soon that I need to have something to use. I also don't want to waste time learning something I cannot stick with long term either. P.S. this whole ownership change thing and being in on the first edition of Geomagic Design also worries me that I will end up just losing my money at some point because things go down a bad path or the prices escalate beyond affordabilty for upgrades etc etc. It is so aggravating that a hobbiest cannot afford anything good. GM Expert would cost as much/more then my 3D printer. how much that thing cost anyway!? 800 dollars! 800 dollars!?! yeah!

Hi there,Just wanted to add my two-bobs worth to this thread. Like 'all those before me' I too was about to neck myself over the fact that my Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro decided to freeze after 3 seconds everytime I opened rendering it useless. However as the thing cost me around $595.00 (AUD) the thought of binning it and going on to some pay-by-the-month subscription bugged me even more. Adobe's 1800 number (Sydney Australia) no longer offers support for this product which only added insult to injury. Anyway it seems that persistance does sometimes pay off. Although I followed the date trick offered by 'Rayruppert' (see his posts above), it didn't work for me, as each time I hit the update button it would run through the 9.2 update then just as the progress bar was about to finish it would crash...Aaggrrhhh!The error message (pop-up box) I would receive would say;C:\Program Files (x86)\CommonFiles\Adobe\Updater6\AdobeUpdaterInstallMgr.exe failed to installNo matter how many times I 'clicked' on Retry the result would be the same...So how did I resolve it you ask?TBH...I think it was more of a fluke than anything but anyway this is what I did and so far it seem to have worked - I'm no longer experiencing a freezing program that was driving me nuts.1. I unistalled all adobe products on my PC, (with exception of Photoshop CS6 not for any particular reason I just missed it and it obviously didn't prevent the fix).2. Before doing a fresh 'restart' (having deleted all but the CS6 Adobe program) I changed the calendar date as recommended by Rayruppert - but I went back a couple more years to 31/05/2010 - not for any particular reason it's just the 2012 date he suggested didn't work for me.3. After boot-up I did a fresh install (I still have a CD rom) inserting product code as usual and following all other prompts. NB: The date was still 31/05/2010.4. Next, I just 'clicked' on the Adobe 9 Pro desktop icon and crossed my fingers - and to my amazement it didn't freeze and still hasn't... The only thing I thought might throw it back into freezing mode would be when I adjusted the date back to 'realtime', which in my case was the 18/05/2020 - but fortunately...so far so good!I've rebooted my computer several times now, along with opening and closing the program and all seems to be well...I'd like to shout out to Rayruppert for the 'date change' trick - not being a tech guy I would have never considered doing something like that, (seriously, who would) so thanks buddy, much appreciated.I hope this 'Ben Hur' post helps others as I was that close to throwing Is there a stand alone mp3 player for a HT system? More as ODoH deploys more widely. Our initial set of measurement configurations spanned cities in the USA, Canada, and Brazil. Importantly, our measurements include not just 1.1.1.1, but also 8.8.8.8 and 9.9.9.9. The full set of measurements, so far, is documented for open access. In those measurements, it was important to isolate the cost of proxying and additional encryption from the cost of TCP and TLS connection setup. This is because the TLS and TCP costs are incurred by DoH, anyway. So, in our setup, we ‘primed’ measurements by establishing connections once and reusing that connection for all measurements. We did this for both DoH and for ODoH, since the same strategy could be used in either case. The first thing that we can say with confidence is that the additional encryption is marginal. We know this because we randomly selected 10,000 domains from the Tranco million dataset and measured both encryption of the A record with a different public key, as well as its decryption. The additional cost between a proxied DoH query/response and its ODoH counterpart is consistently less than 1ms at the 99th percentile. The ODoH request-response pipeline, however, is much more than just encryption. A very useful way of looking at measurements is by looking at the cumulative distribution chart — if you’re familiar with these kinds of charts, skip to the next paragraph. In contrast to most charts where we start along the x-axis, with cumulative distributions we often start with the y-axis.The chart below shows the cumulative distributions for query/response times in DoH, ODoH, and DoH when transmitted over the Tor Network. The dashed horizontal line that starts on the left from 0.5 is the 50% mark. Along this horizontal line, for any plotted curve, the part of the curve below the dashed line is 50% of

Google is already shipping the gold color.Read Article >Keurig’s Kold drink dispenser makes a mean soda, but it’ll cost youThis hasn’t been the best year for Keurig, arguably the world’s leading purveyor of pod-based hot beverages. An attempt at coffee cup DRM enraged the company’s customers, forcing them to walk back the change as a consequence of cratering sales; the company’s big leap into cold beverages, the Kold drink dispenser, was ridiculed for its bulk and high cost upon its release at the end of September.I had the chance to try the Kold for myself tonight at CES, and while I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the machine’s Coke-aping products, there’s still a huge elephant in the room: this thing is expensive, and it stays expensive.Read Article >TP-Link’s multi-band Talon router lets you download a 4K movie in four minutesThere are routers, and then there’s the TP-Link Talon AD7200. The device, shown off here at the Consumer Electronics Show today, is the world’s first router to ship with Qualcomm’s new 802.11ad technology, which taps into the unused 60GHz frequency to reach blazing speeds. The router utilizes both 802.11ad and 802.11ac technology, effectively combining the 60GHz, 2.4GHz, and 5GHz bands for a total throughput speed of 7 gigabits per second. Those speeds are outrageous, completely unnecessary, and undeniably impressive. The blending of the bands is practical, however, because the 60GHz frequency can’t penetrate walls easily, so the Talon is able to switch over to 2.4 and 5GHz when necessary. TP-Link says you the router will let you download an entire feature-length 4K video in about four minutes or transfer a thousand photos to a storage device in about five seconds. It has eight antennas, and contains four gigabit ethernet ports and two USB 3.0 ports for transferring files. TP-Link isn’t saying how much the Talon will cost quite yet, but it’s going to be available early this year.Read Article >Taking temperature with Withings’ futuristic forehead thermometerThe activity tracker that Withings showed off at CES this week may have been a super basic tracker, but Withings also unveiled something that’s not quite as recognizable: an infrared thermometer. Infrared thermometers tend to look either like ultrasound wands or some sort of staple gun, and in typical Withings fashion, the France-based company set out to make a thermometer that was sleek, white, and made people at CES ask, “What the hell is that thing?”I had the chance to try out the new Withings thermometer, called the Thermo, at a CES preview event. I’ve never used. how much that thing cost anyway!? 800 dollars! 800 dollars!?! yeah! How much you cost anyway ?
