Damage) The interesting thing about dual blades is that Kjarr weapons really are the strongest elemental and status weapons in almost all cases. The weapons have built in Crit Element/Status which is perfect with True Dragonvein Awakening from the full Safi Armor set which boosts affinity as well as elemental damage. However, the new destructive monster Alatreon who is rumored to control all of the elements has elemental weapons that make some of Kulve’s weapons obsolete, not just Dual Blades either but for all weapon types. Will see use against nerg and the zinogres. Might be enough raw to justify them in multi monster hunts, or laziness in general.Support for optimism: Nearly everyone I meet is some poor sod who doesn't realize what they've got, and I'm the worst offender. We all learn when we lose it.Robust 4 years ago#4Fatalis DB is best for rawUnbound-King 4 years ago#5Kjarr DBs edge Dual Skies out on proper matchups by about 5%, I think someone said? But it probably comes down to what you have available. If you've got all the knicks and knacks to fill out a Kjarr DB set on full Safi, you'll do more damage with that on all but the targets with s*** elemental hitzones. The Fatalis set dooooes give you a lot more build freedom since you can still grab all the important Raw Skills and work in extra QoL, moreso than Safi allows, and the damage difference between Kjarr on proper matchups versus a general Fatalis set isn't really something to write home about unless you're speedrunning.I'm probably just gonna make Fatty DB and Bow sets and just use those from now on.GT: Sho Minamimotto/PSN: Azure_Reaper8/Switch: 3102-7895-8025/FGO: 349-336-611/GI: 600172869I'm just a scrublord.MHW Longsword Builds Compilation [Fatalis
I prefer casual games.Fairycancel 4 years ago#6Fatty dbs have a little less power but waaaaaaaay better defense and the longer stamina means it doesn't need stamina skills nor dash juice as much. Its very niceJuno main!Iced_Shadows (Topic Creator)4 years ago#7Thanks for the info guys! So if I go for these Duals I’ll lose out on a small amount of damage but gain a ton of QoL? Deviljho and Rathian/Rathalos. So technically speaking, the Fatalis DBs are even more important than Kjarr Dragon.I'm mad.#10(message deleted)BoardsMonster Hunter: WorldAre the Fatalis DB's worth using, or do Kjarr still outdo them?.
