If so, install this hotfix from Microsoft: addition, check if you have installed the Nvidia Network Manager. There is a issue with the Nvidia Network Manager dll that corrupts the UDP stack. Enabling PB when the game has launched can trigger this crash.Also running the game in the Windows 2000 compatibility mode might help. To do so right click on the game executable and create a new shortcut. Then right-click on the newly created shortcut, select properties and go to the compatibility tab. PB can be touchy with software featuring screen overlays, including older versions of Fraps and EVGA Precision. Newer versions of Fraps and Precision run fine without triggering PB (I currently run Fraps 3.0.3 and Precision 2.0.0).I use Fraps without issue in my own public (8.9.17.135:28960) and private CoD4 servers, both of which always have PB running, as well as in many other public servers. I upload, to my own web site, any videos needed to show that I don't cheat. I used to record demos but I believe Fraps provides more solid evidence of clean play.
