Hi, all. We're using VMware Workstation 6.0.2 rather heavily, running on 8-core Dell boxes with 32GB each, under RHEL 4.6 64-bit Linux. We run (and stop) many dozens of VMs every day. The VMs are MontaVista Linux (32bit).After a few weeks (sometimes less than two, but on average three to four), we are forced to reboot the host because VMs simply stop launching, or access to hgfs shared folders suddenly stops, etc. By this time hundreds of VMs have been launched, run, and then torn down. Booting the host clears everything up, and we're good for another few weeks. 'top' show nothing particulary alarming, nor does 'free'. What "resource" could be leaking here? Is there a known issue with Workstation being launched and stopped hundreds of times? I've scanned the Knowledge Base without success; if I've missed something, please pass on a pointer.
