Sonic Comic Dub - The Wrath of Surge! Sonic VS Surge (IDW
Friends.Kit becomes extremely aggressive when he believes someone is preventing him from being helpful, with his anxiety and trauma revealing itself.History[]Little is known about Kit's history pre kidnapping from Dr. Starline. During his time as Starline's test subject he and Surge were cybernetically modified using the power cores from Sonic Heroes, bio data of Sonic, Tails and Shadow, an altered Metal Virus strain to improve his overall durability and had his memories and personality altered via study of Dr. Eggman's wooden badnik creation, Belle, during his time as Mr. Tinker. He was placed under repeated hypnosis sessions by Starline, implanting fake memories and a constant reminder than he only lives to serve Surge. Starline also performed rigorous testing and obstacle courses for Surge and Kit, which would inevitably end with the two becoming fed up at which point Starline would wipe their memories and start again, which led to the two's psyches becoming more and more fragmented.Later Surge and Kit begin to question why they even want to destroy Sonic or help Surge respectively, with neither knowing exactly why, just that they have a desire to do so. Starline, sensing problems puts them back under hypnosis.Trivia[]Kitsunami, like Surge and Dr. Starline is based off a graphical glitch. In Kit's case he is based off a glitch that would turn Tails into a blue Knuckles under the right conditions in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The powers of Surge and Kit being Sonic and Tails' reversed phobias (Sonic is afraid of water(Kit's ability), Tails is afraid of lightning (Surge's ability)) was an unintentional design addition.Kit is the second Sonic character to be shown able to manipulate liquid, after Chaos.Gallery[]Kit lagging behind Surge during the testsStarline erasing Kit and Surge's memories Kitsunami the Fennec is a cyborgnetical enhanced fennec fox created by Dr. Starline in the Sonic the Hedgehog IDW comic universe, designed to support Surge in her pursuit of destroying Sonic the Hedgehog and designed after Tails.Appearance[]Kit is a tiny blue fennec fox who's hair and droops over his eyes. He is short in stature, even smaller than his counterpart, Tails. On his back he wears a yellow water pack with six nozzles allowing him to create 'water tails' that he can control at will. He wears matching black punk like cufflings to mimic Surge's punkish appearance. When activating his powers his eyes glow bright purple.Personality[]His current personality is forged by Dr. Starline's consistent useage of hypnosis on him, enforcing that Surge is everything to him and he only lives to serve her in her goals. He is meek, quiet, self doubting and apologetic, acting purely for the sake of Surge, likely due to how Dr. Starline views Tails. Kit's relationship with Surge the Tenrec is also a broken mirror version of Sonic's sibling like relationship with Tails, where instead of having each other's backs, Kit's entire role in their relationship is supporting Surge with it being an unequal relationship.Over time Surge and Kit form a true bond together, and Kit begins to speak his mind a little more. He is also revealed to be far smarter than he lets on, doing most the thinking for Surge and may be even more dangerous than her when backed into a corner.During the brief time Kit thought Surge was dead he became distraught, latching onto Sonic and Tails as a substitute who had saved his life and desperate to be helpful. Interestingly, unlike Surge with Sonic, Kit does not bare a strong hatred of Tails, and the two were even able to briefly becomeSurge-Sonic similarity / General / Open Surge Forum
The concept was obvious to Knuckles, it should be easy to understand. She tells him that she is envious of his ability to balance recreation with duty and wishes to learn how to do this during their travels. After being briefly interrupted by the clock hands moving, Sonic tells Blaze that he does not want to be in charge of how she spends her time, instead only wanting her to enjoy herself. Sonic asks if she wants to get their food on the go as he was already intending to bring his friends some lunch. Blaze accepts, once again questioning Sonic's definition of a scenic route when he brings it up, and the two descend the tower.[17] Silver and Blaze plan to go on an adventure to Soleanna together from Sonic the Hedgehog #64. Two of a kind[]On their way back from Spagonia, Blaze and Sonic come across a disheartened Silver in Victory Garden. Blaze stops to comfort him for his recent mistakes at Restoration HQ, and reminds him of the steady work that resulted in the garden. Sonic celebrates how well Blaze and Silver complement one another's personalities before departing to meet up with Tails and Amy. Now alone, Blaze and Silver share desserts while voicing their admiration of Sonic and of each other. When Silver wishes for more direction in life, Blaze offers to bring him on her trip around the world. He eagerly accepts, and the two set off to visit Soleanna together.[18]Second Chances[] Blaze and Silver meet Surge, from Sonic the Hedgehog #67. In the Restoration depot, Blaze and Silver arrive in midst of their world tour, where they had returned to the Restoration HQ after discovering Mazuri had been suffering from a poor harvest season and were back at the depot to pick up an aid container they had arranged with Jewel. Blaze soon becomes curious over the appearance of Surge and asks about the Tenrec. When Sonic explains Surge is yet another former-enemy-turn-friend, Blaze becomes disgruntled over just how many friends Sonic makes in this fashion. When Surge is interested in what she means, Blaze begins to recall of her colder, snappy nature when first meeting Sonic, reminiscing over her fight with Sonic at Dead Line. When Surge asks Blaze and Silver if, because she's fought Sonic before, she's a member of the Restoration, Blaze politely denies her affiliation to the the organization. As. Sign in to your ScreenRant account Warning: spoilers ahead for Sonic the Hedgehog - Imposter Syndrome #1! IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog will soon face-off against a robotic version of himself called Surge the Tenrec created by Dr. Eggman's former fanboy and lackey Dr. Starline, who programmed the Sonic impostor to fix his ex-hero's repeated failures with Metal Sonic. Frustrated by Eggman's many negative qualities, Dr. Starline went behind his back to build a lifelike robot that would exhibit more than just Sonic's raw power, unlike all of Eggman's Metal Sonics. Even though the latest rendition of the metallic hedgehog almost beat the Blue Blur in IDW's first issues - and even though it unlocked a new powerful transformation known as Neo Metal Sonic - it still ultimately failed. What all of these robots have in common is there's no personality. Starline focused on this shared trait when building Surge the Tenrec, programming her to emulate the Blue Blur's attitude and style in hopes this would help not only beat but replace Sonic. Dr. Starline also constructed another robot based on Tails to make up for many of Sonic's shortcomings that Surge undoubtedly shares - Kitsunami the Fennec. Both creations - which possess electrical and hydro-based powers - just debuted in IDW's tie-in series Sonic the Hedgehog - Imposter Syndrome #1 by writer Ian Flynn and artist Thomas Rothlisberger. Dr. Starline first began doubting Eggman's abilities to defeat Sonic during the "Metal Virus" saga. He noticed that Eggman sabotaged himself every time he faced off against the Blue Blur, becoming more obsessed with theatrics and showmanship at the expense of his genius intellect. Dr. Starline repeatedly tried to convince his hero of these flaws, but all of his attempts fell on deaf ears, forcing him to help Eggman from the shadows in ways he would never agree to. It was during the Bad Guys miniseries that Starline eventually decided to actively sabotage Eggman and achieve what he couldn't with Surge and Kitsunami, who are based on special coding Starline extracted from Belle the Tinkerer, created by Eggman's good alter ego Mr. Tinker. Starline rejecting the man he was once so enthralled with is an interesting development that both explains why Eggman perpetually loses against Sonic and creates new threats without changing what works about Eggman. The villain is over-theatrical and possesses a hatred for organic life that he's demonstrated through the many animals he roboticized in Archie Comics and infected with the Metal Virus in IDW. Creating lifelike robots would go against his character, and Eggman has also repeatedly articulated his distaste for Sonic's attitude, so he would never give those same traits to Metal Sonic. A new villain like Starline Amy, Sonic, Surge, and Kit and Sonic prepare to move on, Blaze waves and watches Silver and Sonic play fight with a dry smile.[19]Sonic's 900th Adventure[] Blaze with the Warp Topaz, from Sonic the Hedgehog's 900th Adventure. Blaze was with Cream at a colorful canyon sightseeing. She received a call from Tails about Sonic's mission to get rid of the Warp Topaz. Sonic soon arrived and Blaze was willing to help, and after a speech by Cream, she joined the others to save the world. Sonic tossed the Topaz to Blaze, who caught it and it teleported them to Tropical Jungle. They made some progress before it teleported them again to Water Palace. Blaze is then teleported to Monopole and works to get back to Sonic and Cream, who are being tossed through different portals. She then warped to Red Mountain, where she noted the topaz had more power than she realized. Blaze concluded the more she chased after them, the more portals appeared. She decided to go put the topaz back on her on for their safety, but she then heard Cream, who was holding Sonic over a lava pool. Blazed jumped to them and a portal appeared, with them falling out of the sky. Sonic held the Topaz with Blaze and explained with focus they can guide where the portal will appear. They focused on the gorge from earlier and a portal to it appeared. Cream tried to get them there, and with a boost from Blaze, they got through the portal. They arrive back in the desert and Blaze thanked Cream, but Cream said Blaze is the one who saved them. Sonic thanked them for the help, but Blaze said they didn't make any progress. Sonic pointed out they are in the lower part of the gorge now and left. They waved goodbye and Blaze noted how Sonic can find the positive in any situation.[20]Scattered Pieces[] Blaze showing her love for her friends and desire to help them, from Sonic the Hedgehog #76. Many days after the destruction of Restoration HQ, Silver and Blaze return from their world tour to Emeraldville Ruins to find all the flowers and vegetables in the Victory Garden destroyed. Although Silver is upset, claiming how it seems like his efforts to stop the peril in the past always lead to another disaster to clean up, he decides to make a new garden. Is surge Sonic's clone? - SplicedOnline

Out to touch the edge of interpersonal connection, asking to be understood or perhaps to be consumed by another’s presence. A Sonic Seduction – Dissecting the Fundamental UrgeThe title ‘Feed Me With Your Kiss’ is not only a plea; it’s a fierce yearning—almost vampiric in its intensity. The juxtaposition of feeding and kissing interweaves physical and emotional nourishment, suggesting a deep, insatiable craving. The song opens with a raw curiosity—can what is seen be possessed? The visceral imagery insinuates a blend of sensory experiences, where seeing intertwines with having, and desire becomes palpable through the act of a kiss.Texturally, the desire within the song mirrors the soundscape that My Bloody Valentine is famous for: a blend of muffled vocals and layered, distorted guitars that envelop the listener in a cocoon of sound. It’s suggestive of passion that is smothering yet delicate, a tender violence. The ‘feed’ is not gentle; it’s encompassing, hinting at the overwhelming nature of want and the complex dance of intimacy.Dissecting the Cryptic Crescendo of EmotionsThe chorus erupts with the statement ‘So feed me with your kiss,’ a direct command that lies at the heart of the song. It is at once a call for action and an admission of vulnerability. The emotional crescendo is matched by an instrumental surge, heightening the urgency and the raw need conveyed by the lyrics. It is a moment of release within the song, where the protagonist pleads for a salvation only found in the closeness of another. There’s also an undyingComments
