The newest of which was introduced in November 2022. The following information relates to this launcher.Installing for the first timeIf you're a new player and wish to download TruckersMP for the first time, simply follow the steps below.Step 1: Download the TruckersMP Launcher from You must be logged in to download.Step 2: Run the Installation file titled TruckersMP-Setup.exeLauncher updatesIf you’re playing again after we have provided you with an update, your launcher will look very similar to this.Click the “Download Updates” button and give it a few minutes to download all the required files to run. Depending on the content, downloads can take some time.Once the launcher has finished downloading all the new files, the “Play” button in the bottom right will turn red. Please ensure you have the correct game selected via the menu in the bottom middle.Common Launcher ProblemsCould not find the game installation path(s)?Step 1: If the launcher doesn’t automatically set your game installation path(s) as seen with an error message here:Step 2: You can change the path(s) manually in the settings menu as seen here:(Tip: You can find the game installation directory by following this instruction: Go to Steam Library → Right click on the game → Properties → Local Files → Browse)Step 3: Upon successfully updating the paths the ‘path to game directory’ tick box will turn green as seen here:(Note: You do not have to use the same drive as listed in the example images.)If you encounter any other issues during the installation or update process, check out our Technical Issues section.If your particular issue is not included in this list, please contact the Support team via the relevant guide within that section.

Question Report Posted December 23, 2024 It always crashes and I'm able to start the game, I have tested the following and still unable to play or start the multiplayer: I have freshly installed ETS2 and TMP after 2022, now I have updated the required dependencies .net, directX and Visual C++ Redistributables file I have updated graphics driver I have checked both ETS2 file and TMP file integrity file verifications Uninstalled complete from root folder and reinstalled both ETS2 and TMP Run TruckersMP as Administrator folders If I try to start the game from TMP again and again it starts only the single player mode and not multiplayer. Someone kindly help me to resolve this issue and I have attached the screenshot of error dialogue box Recommended Posts 0 Report Posted December 23, 2024 Hello @BoomBack, Follow my recommendations: You need to disable antivirus and run the launcher as administrator. Hello there, @Arrebi, First of all, welcome to TruckersMP forum! In majority of the cases, the issues related to downloading the update is related to the network issues, antivirus that is blocking the download or OneDrive. In order to solve the issue, you need to completely uninstall any antivirus that may be installed on your PC. Keep in mind that disabling antivirus does not help because antiviruses tend to force their protection and the application is usually still running in the background, you may notice some of the processes within the task manager. After uninstalling the antivirus, uninstall the launcher, restart your PC and download a new installation file from our website. If the steps mentioned above do not help, try using a VPN to download the update. For example, you can use Windscribe VPN or search for other alternatives. Lastly, disabling OneDrive sometimes helps as well. Hope these steps help you with solving the issue you are experiencing. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Question Report Posted February 12, 2021 Hi all, just put truckersmp in and during my first drive got kicked at 4.41pm for lights issue. It was bright with snow. Streetlights were off. So the question is what are the times when sidelights and/or headlights should be used as the rules only say: '§5.1 - Server Auto Kicks Headlights - Headlights must always be on between the hours of 21:00 (9 PM) - 05:00 (5 AM).' regards Val Recommended Posts 0 Report Posted February 12, 2021 Hello, As stated in the rule that you have mentioned, your headlights MUST be on between 9PM and 7AM to avoid being kicked from the server. That would explain everything. Probably in the UK you need to have headlights enabled between 16:00 (4 PM) - 06:00 (6 AM).
